Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce Dominates School Field Day in Viral Parent Race Video
Olympic legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce reminded everyone that once a sprinter, always a sprinter.
On Tuesday (April 16), the 38-year-old Jamaican track star shared a hilarious and heartwarming update on Instagram, showing herself toppling the competition in a parent race.
The eight-time Olympic medalist, who recently announced her return to professional competition just days before, effortlessly left a row of fellow moms in her dust as she headed to the finish line.
“They haven’t banned me yet so I’m at the line,” she joked in the caption alongside the video.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist’s competitive fire was matched only by her enthusiasm for her son Zyon, who also participated in the school’s sports day.
“My champion boys always,” she captioned a carousel of photos from the day, cheering Zyon on for winning his own race. “The smile crossing the line was everything.”
The heartwarming family moment came just days after Fraser-Pryce announced her official return to professional racing on April 10, sharing a powerful video that closed with the message: unfinished business.
