Lil Yachty Jokes That He's Selling Designer Toilet Paper For $500
In anticipation of a foreseeable future where the coronavirus is still around, many people across the U.S. have been preemptively stocking up on basic household necessities.
Stores with shelves wiped clean of dry goods, bottled water, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes among other essentials have become commonplace amid the ongoing pandemic. As more citizens lock down under self-quarantine by the day, businesses and public services are also continuing to shut down in an effort to stop the spread of the virus. However, the trepidation has led to a shortage of certain goods.
Quality Control MC Lil Yachty took to Instagram where he announced he’s got a hot commodity up for sale: toilet paper. In his post, Yachty revealed that he’s got a four-pack of Bape toilet paper available for anyone who’s willing to buy it, and the price point is nothing to sneeze at.
“As [you] all may have heard, I went broke a while back so I’ve decided to flip designer toilet paper as a new career…,” he joked with his 9.5 million followers. “Price may be a little steep...but it’s a rare necessity currently...so $500.”
