Nia Long And Daphne Wayans Become Background Dancers For Jeanette Jenkins

The celebrity trainer challenged her friends/clients to show off their moves in viral dance challenge.

Nia Long, Daphne Wayans, and celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins recently linked up for a healthy girls’ day out, and the three gorgeous women went to work out at the gym. Well, maybe Jenkins went to work out, while Wayans and Long wanted to get out of it.

Jenkins captioned the post, “I told Nia Long and Daphne Wayans they don’t have to do the last set if they would be my background dancers.”

The fabulous and fit trio hopped on the viral background dancer trend that has a person create a dance routine while a friend, loved one, or even a celebrity appears as their "background dancer" in the video.

The “dancing” is all a part of an effort to bribe them for something in return. In this case, Long and Wayans wanted to get out of their workout.

Usually, the main creator is the focus, while the background dancer either comically mimics their moves or creates a distracting, often less-than-perfect background dancer performance. This hilarious trend even had rapper Method Man step in as his daughter’s background dancer.

So let’s just say Wayans and Long danced like their lives depended on it. Jenkins asked her followers how her friends did as background dancers, and it turns out Miss Nia Long was very serious about skipping that last set. Fans joked in the comments and said, “Nia really wanted to go home 😂,” “Nia said this workout is over 😂😂😂,” and “Nia was breaking that thang down ….Daphne owes you a set 😂😂😂😂”

It’s lovely to see these Black women having fun together while pouring into their own wellness and each other’s. We love girl’s girls! Did they owe Jeanette another set?
