If you missed the chance to experience the RENAISSANCE Tour in person, there is still hope for you, beloved. As announced at the final stop of the tour via The Hollywood Reporter, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter is bringing her show to a big screen near you this week, and yes, you really need to be there.
Simply put, to say that Beyoncé’s RENAISSANCE Tour is the greatest tour ever toured would be a total understatement. As someone who not only went to both the Las Vegas and Houston shows (and got to see Megan the Stallion up close), I’d be lying to you if I didn’t say that this tour forever changed me. From the stunning visuals to the array of costume changes to the moment Beyoncé acknowledged fans in the audience, this tour was the best concert I have ever attended. Period.
But beyond the honey-coated production value, there is a much deeper meaning that makes the RENAISSANCE revolutionary, whether in concert or in theaters worldwide. One example is knowing that the tour celebrates the life and legacy of Beyoncé’s Uncle Johnny while also realizing that so many of us are also someone’s Uncle Johnny.
Hence, here are all the reasons why you should RUN (not walk) to secure your popcorn, soda, and seat for the Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce:
Unveiling Beyoncé's Spectacular Audiovisual Symphony
The audiovisuals are far more intricate and straightforward. During the tour, so many elements were happening in the arena, making it practically impossible to take them all in. On the big screen, you can take all said elements in at once.
Beyoncé's Inclusive Vision Unveiled: A Deeper Dive Behind the Scenes
Audience members will get a chance to better understand the intentionality of inclusivity and her involvement in every step of the tour—something that many of us rarely see.
"Inside Beyoncé's Creative Sphere: Decisions, Innovations, and the Queen's Touch"
We will see Beyoncé in her creative element, something many of the Beyhive live for. Additionally, we get to see why the queen made her decisions and how said decisions added to the tour's quality (and experience).
Witnessing Beyoncé's Mentorship Journey with Blue Ivy: Behind the Curtain
We will get a behind-the-scenes look into how Beyoncé worked with and mentored Blue Ivy during the process of the tour.
The Visual Extravaganza Unfolded: Exclusive Insights Beyond the Tour
Visuals. MORE VISUALS. We may get to see things visually that she might not have included on the tour. We begged for them and the queen complied.
Beyoncé's Problem-Solving Prowess: Navigating Tour Challenges On Screen
We will get to see how Beyoncé problem-solved during the tour. Fans know there were a few hiccups during this tour, so seeing how Beyoncé navigated said issues on screen will be cool.
Global Celebration at Club RENAISSANCE Beyoncé's Inclusive Community on Display
You will get to see over 2.7 million Black and queer people from around the world celebrating in Club RENAISSANCE. Now, you can do that in community–and theaters–queen!without making travel arrangements. How considerate of the queen!
Dress the Beyoncé Way: Adding to the Collective Creative Fashion Experience
You get to participate in adding to the collectiveness of creative fashions. Because where else are you gonna get to wear all that silver and metallic without someone judging you?
Mastering the 'On-Mute' Challenge: Beyoncé's 9-Second Phenomenon
Folks will finally get a chance to get the “on-mute” challenge right. It’s nine seconds, y’all. NINE. SECONDS.
Discovering Beyoncé's Legendary Work Ethic: A Testament to Her Legacy
You will leave knowing why Beyoncé is our generation's hardest-working, living legend.
You can get your tickets for Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce on the legend’s website ahead of the theatrical release exclusively at AMC Theaters on Dec. 1.
