Talk about being proud of where you come from. Rihanna loves her roots so much that she has decided to exclusively promote it as a tourist destination according to Singersroom.com. The pop diva recently signed a three year deal with The Barbados Tourism Authority (BTA).
“Barbados is a place like no other and one of the reasons for this is the spirit and national pride of our people,” she told Singersroom. “I want each and every visitor to this beautiful island to experience what makes this destination different from all others and that is the spirit and warmth of my fellow Barbadians.”
From now on you may refer to the award winning singer as madame ambassador. The celebration officially begins on August 5, 2011 in Bridgetown, Barbados with a full-length concert of her current “Loud” tour produced by the BTA and Roc Nation. Nice move Barbados. Tourists will flock to this lovely island with ravishing Ri Ri on every promo item.
