Metro Boomin Shuts Down Joe Budden Beef Rumors After Podcast Critique

Despite a lukewarm mixtape review on 'The Joe Budden Podcast,' the hitmaker made it clear there’s nothing but love for the crew.

Metro Boomin shuts down any speculation of having qualms with Joe Budden

Budden and his colleagues recently gave an unfavorable review of the producer’s recent mixtape, “A Futuristic Summa,” on the latest episode of his podcast.

"I saw you up there. I didn’t know you was dropping. I bought it because you’ve been on a run and I clicked this shit," the former rapper, Budden recounts, detailing his process before he listened to the mixtape.

"I’m giving you my experience. I went to track five, I cut if off immediately, never to return to it. Now, I’m not saying that I won’t return to it. That was the end of my Metro Boomin experience. If you’re a producer, put the f*cking names of the people on the song. Say featuring like a decent human being is all we saying. I see a lot of people praising this album so I’m not gonna s*it on it. I only heard five songs.”

A Twitter user took one of Boomin’s recent tweets and quote tweeted with the statement, “Metro Boomin with some Joe smoke” followed by the eyes emoji.

The “Spider-Verse” producer quickly replied, sharing there’s no smoke between the two public figures.

“Let’s not do this! Big fan of the JBP and I’ve been a regular viewer for years and am even a subscriber on Patreon!,” he wrote.

“I respect everything that was said up there (except Ish saying no girls are listening to this, n*gga are you crazy LOL) ALL LOVE ❤️”

You can listen to the mixtape and form your own opinion. It features appearances from Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Quavo, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Young Dro, Yung LA, Roscoe Dash, 2 Chainz, T.I., and Travis Porter amongst a few other artists.
