Jaleel White Returns as Steve Urkel in New Animated Holiday Film
Television's favorite nerd-next-door is making a spirited comeback this holiday season as Jaleel White reprises his role as the iconic Steve Urkel in the animated project, “Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie.”
According to its description, the film follows Urkel, “brilliant but accident-prone super genius Steve Urkel has only one mission — to make the holidays the best they can be for everyone.”
Unfortunately, the holiday cheer takes a nosedive when he accidentally spoils a celebration at his neighborhood shopping mall and embarrasses the department store Santa Claus.
“Hoping to make things right, Steve invents a device that helps people spread holiday cheer, but it only manages to make things worse. Using his big brain and even bigger heart, it’s up to Steve to help the city rediscover the holiday spirit,” it continues.
The film also features the voices of Nicole Byer, Roy Wood Jr., and Kym Whitley. “Urkel Saves Santa” was released on November 21 and is available on demand. Check out the trailer for the new film below.
