The Internet Is Pissed At This MUA For Faking Vitiligo
You can go viral for either being famous or infamous.
No one learned that faster than makeup artist Golgi Apparatus, who practically broke the internet with her recent face beat — but didn't quite get the response expected.

That's ALL makeup — yes, even the light spots.
The photo, which has now been removed from Instagram, quickly garnished lots of attention for looking quite similar to those with vitiligo, particularly supermodel Winnie Harlow.
A Twitter s**tstorm quickly ensued. Now you know Black Twitter always finds the time for a good drag.
The post exploded with over 15K retweets, 28K likes and almost 200 comments all sharing how distasteful they found the look.
Golgi quickly went to Instagram to remove the photo along with sharing that drag queen Valentina's recent photoshoot with gray spots was the inspiration for the look. *insert side eye here.*
The moral of the story? We are finally reaching a time where everyone's beauty is being loved, respected and embraced, but we still have to be sensitive (and respectful) as to how we display our art and inspiration.
Do you think the internet is overreacting and should cut Golgi a break?
