UPDATE:  According to SportsCenter, Diddy has been charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats, and a single count of battery.

Diddy was arrested at UCLA this afternoon following a fight with his son’s football coach, reports TMZ Sports. Police took the 45-year-old mogul, whose birth name is Sean John Combs, into custody for assault, the site says.

An assistant coach was allegedly yelling at Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, while he was on the field. Papa Combs apparently stepped in, and a fight ensued between him and the coach. Diddy reportedly had a kettlebell in his hands, which could be used as a weapon, but sources say he's claiming self-defense.

Word has it that Diddy is still being held at the UCLA campus jail. The arrest must’ve went down within the last few hours, because Diddy’s Instagram account was updated as recently as two hours ago.
