Slay! Epic Photos Of Black and Latin Drag Queens From RuPaul's DragCon
RuPaul is an icon. The man who coined the phrase "You better work!" has turned drag culture into an empire. From launching the careers of over 100 drag queens on RuPaul's Drag Race to his activism work, Ru puts the D in diva and drag!
Ru's influence on drag culture was showcased this weekend for the first DragCon in New York City. The enormous drag event showcased celebrity drag queens from all over the world, especially the ones who graced Drag Race. Most importantly, DragCon was a space where everyone, regarldess of their race, gender, sexuality, age, or any other background, could walk in DragCon at the Jacob Javitz Center and feel loved. There were even 8-year-old drag queens working the runway!
There was some serious talent in the building. Take a look at our exclusive photos below of the best Black and Latin drag queens at DragCon!
