Stalley Joining Music Matters Tour

The MMG rapper will open for Kendrick Lamar on select dates.

Maybach Music Group's first compilation, last year's Self Made Vol. 1, made Meek Mill a star. This year, Self Made Vol. 2 dropped, and the crew's scene-stealing, breakout artist was no doubt Stalley. The MC's introspective rhymes, understated image and, of course, massive beard may not seem to fit in with Rick Ross and his label's aesthetic at first glance, but he made the most of the spotlight the Bawse afforded him. And now the Ohio rapper's shine is about to get that much brighter: Stalley will be joining BET's acclaimed Music Matters tour for select dates.
Stalley, who made the big announcement tonight on 106 & Park, will be joining headliner Kendrick Lamar. Together, the two add up to what will undoubtedly be one of the hottest tours this fall. And more supporting acts are still set to be revealed.

The tour, which in past incarnations has included stars like Marsha Ambrosius, Estelle and Melanie Fiona, will take Lamar and Stalley through 30 cities this fall.
