The Internet Is In A Serious Tug-Of-War After Listening To Kanye West's New 'Ye' Album...

The good, the bad, and the...WTF?

On Thursday night (May 31), the day finally came that Yeezy fans have been dying for and Yeezy foes have been dreading: the release of Kanye West’s eighth studio album, Ye.

In a first-ever, all-inclusive album roll out, the rap czar of GOOD Music flew out fans, friends, family and anyone else willing to lend an ear to the new project to his Wyoming hideaway. Kanye snuck away to the creative hub mountaintop sanctuary for about a year, according to early reports that date back to May 2017. A few inflammatory Twitter controversies, TMZ gags and industry-mate meetings later, and Kanye is now ready to share what he’s been working on with the world.

Among the folks that hopped on the flight to Wyoming were some of the star talents of the GOOD Music camp including Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, Big Sean and Kid Cudi. Comedy stars Chris Rock and Jonah Hill, trap music VIP 2 Chainz, Brooklyn rap star Fabolous, and longtime industry confidante Dame Dash also showed face. It goes without saying that the most familiar faces of Kardashian clan were close by as well, including Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick.

Ye finally made it past the star-studded listening session, and all seven tracks are now freshly lined up on streaming services for Friday (June 1). But not everyone pressed play on the controversially promoted album and (now) artist. For those that did, however, there’s many conflicting feelings that’s caused yet another major divide in the global Yeezy fan base.

See how fans are feeling about the long-awaited Ye album and listen to all seven tracks below.
