Kim Kardashian Seemingly Admits Regret Over North’s Ice Spice TikTok Post

The Grammy Award-winning rapper had been vocal about not wanting his daughter on social media.

Kim Kardashian is giving credit where it’s due.

The reality star and SKIMS founder recently sat down with Time magazine for their TIME100 Most Influential Companies of 2023 issue, where she addressed online comments over her children’s involvement in her media empire.

The 42-year-old revealed that she hasn’t figured out how to merge her children into her business and admitted that “sometimes it’s trial and error.” The mother of four recently had to take a new approach to her daughter North’s TikTok content after her father, Kanye West, publicly slammed the nature of a post uploaded to North and Kim’s shared account.

In the since-deleted clip, the 9-year-old dressed like rapper Ice Spice, sporting the Bronx native’s signature curls while rapping along to her sexually-charged music.

“As soon as I saw the words, I was like, ‘Oh no, we’re taking this down,’” Kim explained. “I saw on the internet, [people saying] ‘Kanye was right,’ and maybe he was in that instance.“

Kanye had been very vocal about his daughter’s presence on the app. Last year, the Donda emcee asked his followers on social media, "What I should do about my daughter being put on [TikTok] against my will?” in a since-deleted post.

Kim views the short-form video platform as a critical outlet for her oldest child, telling the publication North “loves making slime videos and doing her little hair tutorials, and I will fight for her to be creative.”
