BET.com Music Special: Pastor Andraé Crouch’s Celebration of Life Service
Gospel legend Andraé Crouch passed away earlier this month and he will be given a send-off fit for a king.
BET.com is continuing its live streaming coverage of memorial services for the influential singer/songwriter. Last night (Jan. 20) the services kicked off with a tribute concert at the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles, Calif. Today (Jan. 21) the genre's biggest names who wish to bid their final goodbyes will be attendance.
Marvin Winans will perform the eulogy while an all-star band will assemble with Mano Hanes and Bill Maxwell, who will be joined by a massive 80-person choir. All members of the choir sang with Crouch throughout the years and are flying in from as far as Tokyo and South Africa.
Other notable figures confirmed to attend include Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, Karen Clark-Sheard, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Kim Burrell, Dr. Bobby Jones and many others.
The exponential number of lives that Andraé Crouch has touched proves his legacy will continue to live on.
