Chief Keef’s non-music-related headlines are usually of the negative variety but recently the Chicago native decided to place himself in a more positive space.

Keef had a fan meet him backstage at a recent concert where he gave him a little pep talk about life, and apparently it was so powerful it had the young man in tears.

Via a Twitter video presumably only catching a part of their discussion, the “I Don’t Like” rapper is heard asking about how is school is going and explained how their lives are different. “I only got the chance to be a rapper,” he told the fan. “This is what I can do, but you could do something way better.” Keef would later post a picture to his Instagram of the two of them and the caption, “Love this dude. Stay in school much love to you. Be something in life #300 you rock fool!”
