Erykah Badu Has A Hilariously Classic Response To Those Pregnancy Rumors
Twitter's infamous rumor mill has neo-soulstress Erykah Badu fed TF up. Despite her being a prominent advocate for body positivity, many insinuated the Baduola was subtly revealing an impending pregnancy with her recent Instagram video. Those reaching for answers attempted to pinpoint her "baby daddy" as Ishmael Butler, famed rapper from Digable Planets, because the eyebrow-raising video was captioned, "Ishhues wit trust," and at one point "She love you Ish" flashed across the screen.
However, the "Next Lifetime" artist took quickly told Black Twitter to pump the brakes on those baby bump accusations.
Fam, chill. Ain’t nobody shoot up the club, ok?" she wrote
Apparently, this isn't the first time Ms. Badu has been accused of being pregnant. She stated that this rumor starts to fly "every holiday season." "Why I got to be pregnant every holiday season?
just. Stop. Y’all say this sh*t every fall." After we flaunt our summer bodies, most of us go into winter hibernation, to which she continued, "I just be a little hungrier than usual come late October...Now y’all got us in here arguing over baby names." Ish did denounced the rumor, saying it's absolutely untrue. Yet, that didn't stop fans from fawning over her "food" baby and actually trolling her mentions with names.
