The Clipse Reveal Star-Studded Tracklist Ahead of Album Drop

With features from John Legend, The-Dream, Ab-Liva, and more, “Let God Sort Em Out” is shaping up to be a major moment.

The Clipse have done an amazing job at building anticipation for “Let God Sort Em Out,” their first project together in 16 years. They sparked some flames with their singles “Ace Trumpet” and “So Be It” to give us a glimpse of what we are going to get on July 11. Now we have an entire tracklist thanks to Spotify’s “Countdown To” vodcast, as Billboard notes. The 13-song project features names like John Legend, Voices of Fire, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, The Creator, The-Dream, Ab-Liva, Nas, Stove God Cooks, and some vocals from Pharrell Williams.

The journey to another Clipse album was a slow one, but a great one nonetheless. Malice left the group after “Til the Casket Drops” came out and took his time making his return to music over the years. Malice credits working on the albums “Jesus Is King” for Ye and Pusha’s “It’s Almost Dry.” Working alongside his brother showed him that there was still an audience for their music, and that audience needed to be catered to. He told Billboard, “We’re not into existing in rap, it has to be revolutionary.”

In the podcast episode, Malice also shared how his brother influenced his decision to come back from his hiatus. “The fact my brother has kept the integrity of hip-hop alive, in my eyes, the way I’d like for it to be done, made room for me to be part of a force I’d want to be aligned with. Otherwise, it never would’ve happened,” he stated.

As we get closer to the album's release, the duo has become more excited to raise rap back to the standard it was once held. “One thing I’m hearing over and over again that I agree with is that there’s a feeling that’s been restored, and I see it like that,” he said. “That’s confirmation that we doing what we supposed to be doing.”

We will see in 9 days when “Let God Sort Em Out” hits all streaming platforms.
