Meghan Markle Shares Rare Video of Princess Lilibet Playing with ‘Auntie’ Serena Williams
Meghan Markle just gave royal fans a rare glimpse of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, in a sweet moment with none other than tennis legend Serena Williams.
On Saturday, (March 1) the Duchess of Sussex shared an adorable video of the 3-year-old enjoying a game of Candy Land with her honorary “auntie.”
Dressed in a pink shirt and pink-and-green leggings, Lilibet, stood next to Williams, who sat beside her, as they moved pieces across the board. “When the aunties come to play and celebrate! Love you @serenawilliams,” Markle, 43, captioned the clip, which was set to Bill Withers’ classic hit “Lovely Day.”
The sweet moment was part of Markle’s latest Instagram post, which also included a picture of Lilibet and Williams fully engaged in their board game fun. Alongside the photo, Markle teased her upcoming Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan”, writing: “3 days until the party begins. All are invited ❤️ @netflix.”
Markle, who shares Lilibet and 5-year-old Prince Archie with Prince Harry, also posted a warm snapshot of herself embracing Williams—her longtime friend of over a decade.
Since launching her new Instagram account in January, the actress has been offering glimpses into her life with Harry and their kids.
Last month, she delighted followers with a Valentine’s Day video featuring Lilibet carefully cutting strawberries into heart shapes before placing them on cream cheese-covered bagels. The clip ended with Archie—dressed in a red long-sleeved shirt—opening a sliding glass door to receive the special treat.
While the couple famously stepped back from their royal duties in 2020, they’ve built a quiet life in Montecito, California, where they reside in a multi-million dollar estate.
