Lil Yachty Walks Away Unscathed After Crashing $330K Ferrari On Atlanta Freeway
Prayers are up for Lil Yachty after he reportedly was involved in a frightening car accident in Atlanta yesterday.
The rapper was driving along Interstate 75/85 North when his Ferrari hydroplaned on Monday (June 22) during a downpour. TMZ reported that the rain was coming down hard and “there was a lot of standing water on the road,” which caused Yachty to lose control of his vehicle. He spun out of control across seven lanes before crashing into a concrete barrier wall on the shoulder of the highway, according to local news station WSB-TV.
Yachty’s car was totaled but thankfully the 22-year-old appears to have walked away from the accident without any serious injuries, though WSB-TV reported that Yachty told responding officers that he didn’t remember what happened after he lost control of his vehicle. His car was reportedly worth at least $330,000K.
It was not reported if he was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Most recently, Lil Yachty released the third and final installment of his Lil Boat album series, Lil Boat 3, on May 29. In March, he dropped the album’s lead single, “Oprah’s Bank Account,” featuring Drake and DaBaby. Lil Boat 3 peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart.
