Well, Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather, has. The young Mayweather took to X and shared, “lately i’ve been bored so i was thinking about getting a job for fun, and maybe work like 2 or 3 days out of the week just to see what it’s like… why not?”

The offhand post quickly went viral, causing a range of reactions, everything from playful job suggestions to critiques about privilege and performative stunts. Some commenters urged Yaya to try customer-facing roles “to see real life,” while others defended her right to experiment without judgment, arguing that a temporary job can be a legitimate way to explore passions or gain new experiences.

Yaya’s father is worth $400 million and ended his professional boxing career in 2017. According to reports, Mayweather is getting into the ring against fellow legend Mike Tyson this spring in a lucrative exhibition match. So the money is still flowing.

Yaya, who shares a child with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, has complained that the rapper didn’t pay for their 5-year-old son’s birthday party and that her father did. She later apologized and shared that she and YoungBoy have “personal issues.”

"Emotions were high and we weren't seeing eye to eye, but that doesn't justify it," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "I reacted out of frustration and I own that."

There have also been rumors on social media that Yaya pays YoungBoy to spend time with her, and she shut those claims down, calling them “ridiculous” on X. She said, “For 1 he’s rich asf, been rich asf, and for 2 my bd would never accept money from me ever. Weird fake ass narratives like that is the reason he would never even accept gifts from me. Why would I give money to someone who was taking care of me and giving me money dumbasses?”

Whether or not Yaya gets a job and actually clocks in or was just having a moment online…time will tell.
