Rico Nasty Announces New Rap-Rock Album ‘LETHAL’

The Maryland native’s new project arrives on May 16.

Rico Nasty is making her long-awaited return to music, and she’s bringing the chaos with her.

After experimenting with hyper pop and punk-inspired sounds, the genre-bending rapper is diving headfirst into rap-rock with her upcoming album, “LETHAL.”

The project, Rico Nasty’s first full-length release since 2022’s “Las Ruinas,” arrives on May 16, and the Maryland native is kicking things off with a high-energy lead single, “TEETHSUCKER (YEA3x),” streaming on all platforms.

“‘TEETHSUCKER (YEA3x)’ was both the first song I wrote for the album and the first song I ever wrote with Imad Royal, who executive produced ‘LETHAL,’” Rico shared in a statement. “We all knew this song was special from the moment we turned it in. And what’s a better way to start the new era than by poppin’ out like a titty????”

According to a press release, “LETHAL” serves as a full-circle moment for the 27-year-old artist, reflecting on the trap-pop teen persona she crafted over a decade ago while embracing a more evolved version of herself.

The album promises all the signature elements of a Rico Nasty record—female rage, heavy guitars, and sharp humor—while also exploring her growth as a performer, mother, and adult.

With a date for “LETHAL” locked in, the rapper is clearly ready to shake things up once again.
