According to Allhiphop.com, Virginia Beach Police didn't take too kindly to a 50 Cent April Fools joke that involved a radio station announcing the rapper would be filming a music video in their city.

Z104 took to the airwaves making claims that Fif would be visiting Mount Trashmore to film a new visual, which ignited a frenzy throughout the city. The City of VA Beach took to social media outlets Twitter and Facebook to dead the rumor.

Officer Adam Bernstein said of the foolish mix up, "It was a joke and we appreciate that. But, as a police department we have to worry about crowd control and traffic, even if it is a hoax you might have thousands of people show up anyway.
