The Internet Is At War Over Cardi B's Announcement About Her Second Album
It’s no secret that 2017 was the year of Cardi B, and she made sure to keep up the same momentum in 2018, especially with the release of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. The evident growth since her Gangsta B*tch Music days laced the fiery album together, catapulted her success globally, and landed her five Grammy nominations in spite of her plethora of personal issues.
Now that most of the smoke has cleared since revealing that she separated from her husband, Offset, the Bronx femcee is ready to maintain her throne with the release of her second album. “Of course there’s gonna be an album in 2019,” she began via her signature Instagram Live sessions.
Her goal is to have her sophomore album done “around the same time” as her first, which means an April release
However, nothing can be set in stone because her schedule is still subject to change.
