An Update on Lil Wayne's Condition

He's in "good spirits" after his seizures.

Lil Wayne had quite a health scare yesterday (June 13). The 33-year-old Grammy-winning rapper had a seizure while on a private plane flying from Wisconsin to California.

According to TMZ, the flight had to make an emergency landing in Omaha, Nebraska. Now, according to multiple sources, Weezy is doing better and is in stable condition.

"As Wayne's reps we can confirm that he did experience a minor seizure earlier this afternoon," the star's spokesman Derek Sherron said. "Under the guidance of his own doctors, he is now in a stable condition and good spirits. He thanks his fans for their everlasting support, prayers and well wishes."

Karen Civil, who has long worked for Wayne, also confirmed that he’s doing fine, per Mack Maine. He’s been staying at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Centre. It’s uncertain whether he’s currently there.

Lil Wayne has a history of seizures. In 2013, he was reportedly in serious condition due to one that also happened on a flight. TMZ even reported at the time that he had died before it was refuted. His seizures date back to October 2012.
