Jay-Z Set To Return To SNL For The First Time Since 2010
Ahead of his highly anticipated 4:44 tour, Jay-Z is set to usher in season 43 of Saturday Night Live as their musical guest.
While Hov has been a guest performer numerous times over the years, his last visit to the nightly comedy show was in 2010. During his solo performance, Brooklyn's finest delivered an eight-minute-long medley of hits, which included " "Public Service Announcement," "On to the Next One," "99 Problems" and "Empire State of Mind." The rapper also made a cameo during Beyoncé's set in 2003.
Prior to Hov's SNL set, he will be gracing the Made In America festival stage on Sept. 3. In October, Jay embarks on his massive North American tour in support of his magnum opus 4:44, which kicks off in Anaheim, California.
Whether or not Jay will appear in any skits is still up for debate. Hosted by Ryan Gosling, the season premiere is slated to air on September 30. Check out the announcement below.
