REPORT: Jeezy Threatened With Jail Time for Violating Divorce Deal With Jeannie Mai

A judge warned the rapper that continued non-compliance with the court order could lead to incarceration.

Rapper Jeezy may be facing more than public scrutiny if he doesn’t comply with his divorce settlement.

According to In Touch Weekly, a judge recently warned the “Trap or Die” hitmaker that jail time could be next if he continues to “willfully” disregard the court-ordered agreement with ex-wife and daytime television talk show host Jeannie Mai.

During his court appearance late last month, a judge ruled that the 47-year-old star failed to hand over the title to a 2021 Range Rover owed to Mai as part of their divorce deal.

The judge also denied Jeezy’s attempt to recoup $20,000 in legal fees, stating that continued non-compliance “may result in sanctions, which he said could be in the form of incarceration.”

The former couple finalized their divorce last summer, but legal battles didn’t stop there.  A few months later, Mai filed documents alleging that Jeezy hadn’t held up his end of the agreement. The former “How Do I Look?” host claimed he failed to pay for childcare, deposit $500,000 into an account for their daughter, transfer the titles for two vehicles, and cover four months of her rent.

However, Jeezy fired back, blaming the delays on a slow DMV process and saying one vehicle had been damaged by an “act of god.” He also claimed the documents submitted by Mai for her lease were questionable and accused her of trying to “embarrass, humiliate and disparage” him by leaking private details to the media.

While most issues have since been resolved, the April 28th hearing focused on his request to reimburse legal fees—an ask that was denied.

Separately, the veteran emcee is entangled in another legal battle. The Jasmine Brand reports that his former manager, Solomon Fornie, filed a countersuit claiming he was never compensated for helping rebuild Jeezy’s brand and finances.

Fornie alleges he paid off Jeezy’s homes, kept his businesses afloat, and borrowed $400,000 to support operations—without ever receiving repayment or commission over a five-year span.

He’s now seeking what he believes he’s owed.
