Soul Train Awards 2020: See The Best Dressed Celebrities At The 2019 Awards

Our favorite celebs showed up in their Sunday best!

As music's most soulful stars arrived on Sunday at the Orleans Arena, we could not help but admire all the #BlackExcellence that stunned on the 2019 Soul Train Awards green carpet.

As the cameras flashed on their beautiful melanin skin, some of our favorite celebrities stopped to strike a pose to flaunt their designer fashions. Let's just say, we are in awe!

This year, we could not help but notice how many of our favorite celebrities pulled out all the stops and styled in beautiful custom-made designs.

Last night, they celebrated 33 years of love, peace and soul!

    Issa Rae looked gorgeous in pastel yellow, she showed a little skin in her Dion Lee dress, featuring cut-out sides. She kept it simple with silver strappy sandals and silver jewelry. Her look was styled by Jason Rembert.

    H.E.R. has been making a name for herself in the fashion world. She wowed the crowd wearing a silk, DSQUARED dress and Giuseppe Zanotti heels. The songstress took home a win for Best R&B/ Soul Female Artist.

    Sinqua showed up to the Awards wearing a multi-color floral brocade suit. The American Soul actor looked handsome and had the ladies loving him on the carpet.

    Pose, honey! MJ Rodriguez took home best dressed wearing a custom, hot pink-and-orange tulle gown. She wowed the crowd with her opening performance in a custom dress with leather corset and harness by Kenneth Barlis.

    Keyshia Cole  posed on the carpet with her boyfriend, Niko, wearing a black leather MSGM mini dress and Giuseppe Zanotti boots. The new mom of two is looked amazing with her snatched waist. She and Niko welcomed their baby boy in August.

    LeToya Luckett described her style as "comfortable, edgy, [and] funky" as she styled in a black, lacy House of Chapple ensemble. While chatting with June Ambrose on the green carpet, the Torn singer revealed her "Black Is Beautiful" because "God made it. He makes no mistakes, honey!"

    Trevor Jackson took home the Soul Train Certified award. He graced the green carpet in a casual yet fresh look wearing a black top and jeans, accented with a long leopard sweater coat.

    The Lady of Soul honoree, Yolanda Adams, graced the carpet in a sequin, peplum dress. The gospel songstress turned heads in her stunning party dress, accented denim corset-style belt. She pulled her look together with cobalt blue Christian Louboutin boots.

    Wale is having a big year. He released an album, has the number-one single on radio and hit the stage performing his hit, featuring Jeremih. The rap star wowed us on the carpet wearing a black pinstripe suit by Pyer Moss with his dreads style neatly into a bun.

    Skai Jackson was styled perfectly in a pink dress by Fausto Puglisi. The teen actress always looks stunning on the carpet.

    Queen Naija was red hot as she arrived at the awards show in a floor-grazing Francesco Paolo Salerno wrap dress, featuring a deep V-neckline. Keeping her accessories simplistic, the soulful singer accompanied her look with sleek bone-straightened hair. Her husband wore an Alexander McQueen floral-patterned suit.
