'Ms Pat Settles It!' – Hair-Raising Justice

Ms. Pat delivers hilarious life lessons as she rules on cases featuring wigs, love, and greedy bosses in this week's episode.

On “Ms Pat Settles it!,” Ms Pat Gets to the troof (with an f) of every situation. She brings her street smarts to the courtroom with objective rulings and no no-nonsense attitude.

“Don’t put your faith in my hands, I ain’t god I don’t love you,” she exclaims in the show’s intro. There’s also other gems like, “Don’t do me, do Jesus, cuz he got more patience witchya.”

Pat also brings her jury of peers, which includes a rotation of celebrities and influencers such as Garianna, Carmen Barton, Ha Ha Davis, Jordan Cooper, Ray J, Jasmine Luv, White Boy Chris, and Carmen Barton.

However, Ms Pat clarifies that her opinion is the only one that matters. That brings us to episode 102. Here are three lessons from Ms Pat as told through her funny quotables.

1. Tomeka Mitchell Vs. Tonia Wilson

Battle of the Synthetic Wig

The Lesson: “Alabamans can fight, but they sure don’t know how to buy hair.”  (Ms Pat’s words, not ours)

Mitchell is suing her best friend, Wilson, for $350 for a wig she installed that Wilson never paid for. Wilson is counter-suing for $200, claiming that she butchered the wig that she planned to wear for her 56th birthday. It was a synthetic wig, but Wilson thought it would be human hair. Ultimately, the proof is in the pudding, and Wilson brought the wig out. The court erupted in laughter because it looked crazy. Mitchell swore it wasn’t the original wig, but the proof is persuasive, and Ms Pat ruled in favor of the defendant, Wilson.

2. Romeo Glover vs Lanier Abrams

The Catfish Caper

The Lesson: “Two things you don’t mix are love and loans.”

Glover is suing his on-and-off again partner Abrams for $2,200. Glover loaned Abrams the money so that he could start his photography business. Somewhere, things got lost in translation because Abrams was under the impression that the money was a gift but that Glover was only asking for it back because he was salty they were no longer together. Glover said it was always alone. In the end, Ms pat saw through Abrams’ jig and awarded Glover his money back but told him not to fall so easily next time.

3. Oscar Pruitt vs AC Cunningham

The Greedy Boss

The Lesson: “The Lesson: I don’t know why the owner of the company needs tips. It is greedy to take from people that are making less money than you are.”

Pruitt runs a successful air conditioning company, and he’s suing his friend and employee, Cunningham, for $1500 in back tips. Pruitt claims that it’s in all of his employees’ contracts that they have to share their tips with him. Cunningham said he did all the work, and Pruitt doesn’t do anything that deserves a tip. Plus, Pruitt already makes a percentage from every job his employees do, so he’s just being greedy. Pruitt was smart to put the tip clause in his contract, but Ms Pat ruled in the defendant's favor because it is greedy to want a tip for work you didn’t do, especially when you already make more than your employees. However, there’s another lesson in this that Cunningham needs to apply moving forward and that everyone can learn from: Read your contracts.
