Sacha Baron Cohen Joked About Murdering Women In Front Of OJ Simpson, And The Internet Is Shocked At His Reaction
Sacha Baron Cohen really went there.
On the season finale of his Showtime series Who Is America?, the actor/comedian masqueraded as Italian playboy Gio Monaldo and interviewed the former NFL star turned accused murderer.
On Sunday night’s (August 26) episode, Simpson laughed when Cohen’s character pretended to stab his “girlfriend” Christina while explaining why he was famous.
“She’s gorgeous, but sometimes I want to kill her, you know,” Baron Cohen said.
“Hey, hey, hey, hey hey,” replied Simpson, who asked him to “stop” between laughing.
Sacha then said he had a rich business partner who would offer money to hear the truth about “that night” with “the wife.”
“What wife?” Simpson replied.
“The one you shot,” Cohen said.
“Well, first of all, she wasn’t my wife. We had been divorced,” OJ said. “And second of all, I didn’t do it. … I didn’t ‘get away’ with nothing.”
Suffice to say, it got the Internet going wild.
