Azealia Banks Regrets Comments About President Obama
The Harlem rapper admits she crossed the line in Billboard.
Azaelia Banks is usually not big on apologies, no matter who she offends with her off-the-cuff comments, but the outspoken rapper and social media s*** starter wants to take back some recent remarks about President Barack Obama.
During recent interview with Billboard, the Harlem native shocked even those who are used to her missives by saying, “I want to f*** the president.”
Naturally, the eyebrow-raising comment has attracted its share of backlash on social media, and while that usually provokes defensiveness from Banks, this time around she actually backpedaled.
“Omg I was totally just joking and being silly in billboard about the prez I wasn’t actually being forreal,” she tweeted on Friday night. “I really wish I could take it back. #Geministruggle.”
So there we have it: the one line Azaelia Banks won't cross is President Obama.
