Ciara Takes Over Trinidad Carnival
Ciara just lived out a bucket-list moment at Trinidad and Tobago’s 2025 Carnival.
The singer and entrepreneur touched down on the island for the first time this week, fully embracing the culture with dazzling energy and, of course, some sultry dance moves.
Dressed in a stunning blue feathered costume, CiCi shared a video of herself “Chippin down di road” with a cup of Ten To One Rum in hand, soaking in every moment of the celebration.
“Chippin down di road with my @TenToOneRum cup & dancing with the people of Trinidad in Carnivale will forever be one of my most treasured moments!” she wrote on Instagram.
According to local news outlet Loop, the songstress could be stepping into Soca music, possibly tying it to her rum brand, which she co-founded with Trinidad-born CEO Marc Farrell.
“Trinidad is so beautiful, it’s my first time here and it’s the best time,” she told reporters. “I think we need a good soca song for Ten To One, that’s next on the list.”
Her Carnival clip, soundtracked by Machel Montano’s “PARDY,” had fans excited—including her husband, Russell Wilson. The NFL star had jokes, commenting, “This my mating call I see… keep sippin’ on that @tentoonerum … Cinco goin’ to be on di way!” Ciara, laughing, quickly clapped back, “Someone come take my husband’s phone please.”
Between the music, the energy, and the love from the people, Ciara’s first Carnival might not be her last.
