Jill Scott Announces ‘To Whom This May Concern’ World Tour, Boasting 36 Dates Across U.S., Europe, and South Africa
Jill Scott is going on tour!
The three-time Grammy winner has announced a global 36-date “To Whom This May Concern” World Tour in support of her first full-length album in more than a decade. The run is produced with Live Nation Urban and built around residency-style performances with a live band and will kick off in Nashville in early June and includes U.S. dates across Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, and Scott’s hometown of Philadelphia before heading to Europe, the U.K., and South Africa this fall.
Scott said the tour is an intentional, musician-forward experience. “Creating unique experiences for people in every city is incredibly important to me,” she said in the announcement, calling music a “conversation” and promising shows that prioritize live musicianship, storytelling, and emotional connection. The tour will feature multiple-night residencies in select cities, offering curated set lists and arrangements designed to make each performance feel bespoke. Tickets go on sale first via artist presale on Tuesday, March 10 (10 a.m. local time), with a general sale beginning Wednesday, March 11 at 10 a.m. local time at MissJillScott.com.
The tour announcement arrives right on time as Scott’s album of the same name (“To Whom This May Concern”) debuts strongly across Billboard charts. The highly-anticipated record reached the Top 10 on seven Billboard charts and has generated tens of millions of streams worldwide. There’s clearly a renewed appetite for Scott’s signature blend of soul, spoken-word intimacy, and grown-and-sexy poise. Scott said the residency format lets the band and vocal arrangements breathe, promising that “music is a conversation, and the stage is where we come together to share truth, joy, and the beauty of being alive.”
For fans: key U.S. dates include multiple nights at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville (June 4–5), Kings Theatre in New York (July 16, 18–19), and a three-night run at The Met in Philadelphia (July 24–27). International stops include Royal Albert Hall dates in London and two shows in South Africa in November. Scott’s team calls the tour a global celebration of the new album and her musical legacy.
