Herman Cain Is Getting Dragged For Tweeting, 'House Negroes Stand Up,' To Ben Carson

"He thinks they're called house negroes because they're successful."

Really, Herman Cain?

The staunch Republican took to his Twitter account Wednesday and tweeted, "House Negroes stand up!" Accompanying the words was an image of Dr. Ben Carson and attached to it was a link to Cain's website, in which he tries to explain that both he and Carson are called "house negroes" because they're successful Black men.

"Since the Michigan Chronicle, a historically Black Detroit-based newspaper, thinks Dr. Ben Carson is a 'house Negro', then I must be one also," Cain wrote on his website. "Because that's one of the names you get called by other Black people when you are a success at something, and you do not buy into 'Black group think,' or act and say what they want you to say."

Cain added: "If being called a 'house Negro' is what some of us must endure for succeeding in this nation and thinking for ourselves, then let all of the 'house Negroes' stand up and be counted."

Wow ... just ... wow.

And Cain got dragged to hell with these zero-chill reactions for his statement.

  • What was Herman Cain thinking tweeting this?

    Bruh ...

  • Herman Cain was looking at Ben Carson Like This, and people had to shut him down

    Come on, now.

  • And there was a whole lot more reaction where that came from

You're going to have to hold this L, Herman.

  • And about his notion that they're called 'house negroes' for being successful, pardon Twitter, but everyone's feeling like ...

When the GOAT laughing is used to eviscerate your statements.
