65th Annual Grammy Awards: 5 of Chris Brown’s Greatest Records So Far
Veteran entertainer Chris Brown debuted in 2005 with the release of his single “Run It” featuring rapper Juelz Santana. The track was almost an instant hit ushering in a new r&b sound with hip-hop influences. Since then, Brown has released several major songs and broken industry records while collecting various accolades, including 21 Grammy nominations, one of which he won in 2012 for “Best R&B Album” for his fourth studio project F.R.A.M.E.

Run It
The veteran musician made his musical debut with the 2005 smash hit “Run It” featuring Harlem-based emcee Juelz Santana. Produced by Scott Storch and written by Sean Garrett, the single peaked at number one in November of that year, earning the r&b his first chart-topping single. Brown was the third youngest solo artist to make the achievement.
Kiss Kiss feat. T-Pain
Brown teamed up with singer and rapper T-Pain for this classic record off Breezy’s second studio album, Exclusive, released in 2007. The Virginia-based crooner wrote the single alongside T-Pain, who also produced it. The song received several accolades, including a nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 50th Grammy Awards,
With You
This mid-tempo R&B ballad is another standout track from the singer’s sophomore album Exclusive. It peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the US Pop Songs chart. As of January 2023, the music on video on YouTube has been viewed over 591 million times.
Beautiful People
Brown released “Beautiful People” as the third single from his fourth studio album F.A.M.E. and is described as an uptempo track featuring a mixture of progressive house and Europop. The song received critical acclaim.
Go Crazy
This 2021 collaboration garnered both of its artists, Brown and rapper Young Thug, massive success. The song peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, earning the singer his seventh top-five song as a lead artist while it marked a first for the Atlanta-based emcee.
