Hunt studied English at Morehouse College in Atlanta, but he left to pursue his music career, as cited by PEOPLE.
He is a musician.
Music runs in his blood. According to Page Six, his father was friends with drummer Jimmy “Diamond” Williams of the Ohio Players. Hunt was first introduced to music as a kid and began playing the drums at 7. He is also skilled on the saxophone, keyboard, and the guitar.
He is a Grammy winner.
In 2007, he won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for “Family Affair." That song was first recorded by Sly & The Family Stone in 1971. After receiving his award, Hunt posed for a photo with his then-manager, Randy Jackson.
He is a dad.
Hunt has a teenage son whom he tends to not post much on social media. Still, whenever he does, it's always a sweet moment. The father-son duo have also shared the stage together.
