Kim Kardashian Criticized by Brother of C-Murder’s Victim Over Her Advocacy for the No Limit Rapper

He says only celebrities want C-Murder released from prison.

C-Murder’s victim’s brother is speaking out against Kim Kardashian for advocating for the No Limit rapper’s release from prison.

In a statement shared with TMZ, George Thomas said that the reality star and entrepreneur’s recent push to free C-Murder is rehashing painful memories related to the 2002 murder of his then-16-year-old brother.

Thomas says substantial evidence indicates that C-Murder killed his brother and believes only celebrities want him freed.

“Whenever a celebrity such as Kim Kardashian advocates for C-Murder, it’s like reopening the same wound that cut the family so deep years ago,” the statement reads in part. Thomas also adds that he’s happy that Kardashian wants to fight for the innocent, but C-Murder is not the man she should be advocating for.

Most recently, Kardashian took to her Twitter account to ask her followers to support her efforts to free C-Murder and advocate for his legal rights.

In a lengthy tweet, Kim cited a newly enacted Louisiana law that she believes could work in the No Limit rapper’s favor.

“I wanted to shed some light on a case that I’ve been working on for years…,” she wrote before reminding her followers about what has transpired in the 52-year-old’s case. “Rather than search for the real perpetrator of the crime, the local sheriff’s office zeroed in on proving a case against Mr. Miller. The lead detective harassed multiple witnesses and mishandled the case so that the trial court could grant Mr. Miller a new trial after he was convicted in 2003.

“Louisiana recently enacted a new law that provides innocent people with the ability to raise a post-conviction claim of factual innocence,” she continued. “Mr. Miller has raised such a claim and, like all of his prior post-conviction filings, has been denied relief without even so much as an evidentiary hearing. In light of the fact that the only witnesses have completely recanted their testimony, there is absolutely no remaining evidence against Mr. Miller.”

Ultimately, Kardashian said, “Corey Miller deserves a day in court” to prove he didn’t shoot Steve Thomas in 2002. She also shared her condolences to the victim’s family.

In 2020, C-Murder named Kim Kardashian and his ex-girlfriend Monica, his guardian angels for their work on his case. “After our call for the first time in 19 years, I slept!! You can rest behind these walls but never do you actually sleep,” wrote C-Murder on Instagram after his first conversation with Kardashian.
