Ye (formally known as Kanye West) is bringing the collaboration we've all been waiting for to life.
On Friday, the rapper, 44, shared a photo to Instagram which looks like a contract with his Yeezy Gap collection will now include Balenciaga.
Officially, the project is called Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga. Vogue says the first drop is slated for this June, while a second drop will arrive later in 2022.
"There are very few people that I know, especially of Ye's caliber, who really understand my work so well. He makes me come out of my comfort zone and be a better designer," Balenciaga's creative director, Demna Gvasalia, told Vogue.
We love how Ye continues to merge streetwear with high-fashion, and now with a mega-retailer, he is truly a visionary.
ICYMI: Ye and Demna have been friends and have worked together on many projects, including Ye's Donda rollout along with Kim Kardashian's recent wardrobe upgrade wearing only Balenciaga runway looks.
We're not sure what the price point will be, but we hope to get our hands on a piece before the resellers make it impossible.
