Alicia Keys is serving up a collection of confidence-building, size-inclusive pieces for what she calls the “Summer of Soul.” The collection with Athleta will feature linen pieces, breezy jumpsuits, workout gear, accessories, and six new swimwear options.

"It's always about being effortless, being able to be who you are, as you are," Keys, 42, tells PEOPLE on the messaging weaved into her third drop with the performance-wear label. "You have something comfortable and beautiful to wear" while fulfilling the many roles in your life, she added.

The 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist’s capsule features 13 pieces that are colorful and airy and represent her “effortless, bright and flattering” style.

She added, “It really is inspired by the summer, allowing us to find a bit more brightness [in life] as we transition from a long winter.”

Keys noted that the collection reminds her of growing up in New York on “summer nights where the breeze is blowing, you're outside, you're with your friends, you're just feeling good."

The versatile collection is even for those who feel a little hesitant about flaunting their curves. Keys advises, “know that you are so beautiful exactly as you are, in exactly whatever form you come in."

She added, “Just be experimental and honor how you feel.”

Athleta uses sustainable materials and Keys put her own twist on that by shooting the campaign at her home with pictures taken by her brother.

“It's really fun to be able to work with the people that you love because it's not even working anymore. You get to have a really nice time, feel good and be yourself. All of that really shows too. The campaign feels organic, natural and exactly how we wanted that Summer of Soul energy to feel."

This summer fans will get the chance to see her on her Alica + Keys World Tour with a summer of concerts in the U.S. and Latin America.
