Beyoncé Posts Touching Mother’s Day Tribute To Tina Knowles: ‘Thank You For Giving Me Life’
Everyone knows how close Beyoncé is to her mother, Tina Knowles, but this Mother’s Day prompted Bey to express her deepest feelings to the world on Instagram as she penned a sweet message in honor of her mother.
On Sunday (May 10), the “Halo” songstress posted a portrait of a young Tina embedded with the lyrics from her shoutout to her mom on Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” remix.
“Dear Mama, I am thankful for every part of you and every second I share with you,” Bey stated in the post’s caption. “Thank you for giving me life and thank you for expanding my consciousness. I would not have been able to do any of what I’ve done in my life without your strength, your wisdom and your prayers.”
“My biggest goal in life is for my children to feel the love you make us all feel,” the music superstar wrote, referring to her three children, Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir Carter who she shares with husband, Roc Nation mogul Jay-Z.
“I appreciate you and thank you with every ounce of admiration and respect,” she continued.
Additionally, Bey’s special note came embedded with a message to her 145 million followers and fans, including those who have lost their mother.
“To anyone reading, please thank and appreciate your mom today and everyday. I’m sending all my love and positivity to anyone missing their angel moms today. I love y’all deep. Gang gang gang gang and thank you for all the Mother’s Day wishes. Sending Big Texas hugs, Mama B,” she concluded.
