[Watch] Big Papi's Daughter Brings Him to Tears During Final Home Opener

The Red Sox pulled off the surprise of a lifetime.

David Ortiz looked over to his teammate and mouthed the words, "Oh s***."

Big Papi never seen it coming Monday when the Boston Red Sox pulled off the surprise of a lifetime by having the slugger's 15-year-old daughter, Alex, sing the National Anthem before Ortiz's final home opener at Fenway Park.

The moment absolutely reduced Ortiz to tears as he embraced his daughter right on the field following her rousing edition of the national anthem.

Prior to the start of this season, the 40-year-old Ortiz announced that this would be his 20th and final year in Major League Baseball.

Also on hand to celebrate Ortiz's final home opener was Boston sports legends Bill Russell, Ty Law and Bobby Orr.

But sharing the moment with his daughter is the kind of memory that will last a lifetime.

The fact that it came as a surprise clearly made the moment all the more special.
