Over the years, gospel singer, songwriter, and actress Tamela Jean Mann has become a powerhouse in the genre after first displaying her talents singing with fellow Soul Train Awards nominee Kirk Franklin and his choir, The Family. For over three decades, the Texas native has been blowing out hits and racking up the awards and recognition deservingly bestowed upon her.

’Take Me To The King’
"Take Me to the King" was released in 2012 as the lead single from the songbird’s third studio album, Best Days. It’s one of Tamela’s signature records and is loved by many, topping the US Billboard Gospel Songs chart for 19 consecutive weeks. It also received a Grammy nomination for "Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance.”
“Change Me” appeared on Tamela’s fourth studio album, One Way, and finds the singer reflecting on the things she wants to change in her life as she calls out to God for guidance and is why she worships him.
This classic number is also from the singer’s fourth studio album, One Way, released in 2016 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. The track won her the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance/Song in 2017.
