Fiyah! Swizz Beatz Celebrates His 40th Birthday With A '007' Inspired Party And New Music With Lil Wayne
It's show time!
In honor of his 40th birthday (Sept. 13), master hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz dropped his first full-length studio album since the 2007 release of One Man Band Man, and it's already getting rave reviews.
Poison, the title of his new 10-track LP, which was co-executive-produced by J. Cole, features a list of hip-hop's finest rappers including Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Pusha-T, The Lox, Young Thug and more.
On Thursday, Swizz dropped the visual for his single “Pistol On My Side,” in collaboration with Lil Wayne and the video is on fire—quite literally.
See for yourself!
In the video, a piano can be seen doused in gasoline before the instrument is lit on fire. As the video progresses, Swizz's wife, Alicia Keys can be seen playing the burning piano.

Super dope!
As for the single, what's most noticeable about this new single is the heavy use of piano, resulting in orchestral vibes which can instantly put you in mind of a "James Bond," theme song.
In fact, we think it was the inspiration of the song, as it seems to perfectly segue into the theme of his 40th birthday celebration thrown by his wifey.

In an "epic" birthday celebration, Swizz brought in his 40th surrounded by family and friends with a "Bond" style party on an exclusive yacht that sailed New York harbor.

Talk about a luxe event with celebrity attendee guest list including La La and Carmelo Anthony, Tiffany Haddish, Lil Duval, Forest Whitaker, and Meek Mill.
Of course, Alicia spared no expenses for the themed party which flaunted casino tables and fancy decor. She even sanging to him after rolling out a custom 'Casino Royale' inspired cake.

From the looks of it, Swizz is truly living his best life.
