Kid N Play's Christopher Reid Arrested

Missed court appearances lands the rapper/actor in jail.

Christopher "Kid" Reid a member of the of late 80's, early 90's rap duo Kid N Play was arrested in Los Angeles earlier today (August 9).
The 47-year old rapper, best known as the flat top wearing half of the playful rap duo that delivered hits like "Ain't Gonna Hurt Nobody," and "Rolling with Kid 'n Play," was taken into custody by LAPD for not responding to an active warrant out for his arrest, reports TMZ.
Officiers were sent to Reid's home after he missed a scheduled court appearance for a 2010 DUI charge. As part of his punishment for pleading no contest to the crime, Reid was required to attend treatment classes and see a judge. The rapper-turned-actor who starred in the 1990 comedy film House Party, was very cooperative with arresting officers. The New York native is currently still in police custody.
