Gospel Singer Bobbi Storm Scorned By Delta Airlines Staff for Singing During Flight

She says she was nearly kicked off the flight.

Bobbi Storm was almost kicked off a flight after not heeding a Delta employee’s “instructions” to be quiet.

On Friday (November 10), the gospel singer posted a video on Instagram that captured her exchange with an attendant who asked her to sit down.

"I sing for the Lord," she can be heard saying in the clip. "I'm doing what the Lord is telling me to do."

As the man asked her to return to her seat, Storm said, "The seatbelt sign is off," and then shared how she is currently on the charts for her singing. After finally sitting down, she told the people around her how she "just found out" she is "up for two Grammys."

"My very first time, you guys," she said as people applauded her.

"Are you going to be quiet?" the flight attendant asked before Storm responded, "But they're enjoying it."

"I'm not enjoying it, so I'm asking you to please be quiet," he said. "That's a yes or no answer, please.

"I'm your flight leader, I need you to follow my instruction," the man continued. "If you're not able to follow my instructions, you will not be able to take this flight."

"What do you guys think?" Storm asked the folks on her flight. "If you are the person in charge of it all, that's fine," Storm said as the attendant thanked her for acknowledging his instructions.

According to PEOPLE, a rep for Delta told them: "Delta has been in contact with the customer. For the safety of our customers and crew, it's always important to follow crew instructions."

In a follow-up post on Saturday, Storm confirmed that Delta reached out and made things "right" with her.

"Case closed and again GOD GETS THE GLORY!!!!! 🥹🫶🏽🙌🏾 Thank you @delta executives for reaching out and making this right with me!!!" she captioned her post.

Bobbi Storm is part of Maverick City Music Group, who were nominated for “Best Gospel Album” and “Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.”
