She doesn’t let her young age stir her away from taking on serious roles
Despite being one of the youngest members of the set of This Is Us cast, 16-year-old Baker’s acting talent can easily compete with some of her more seasoned peers.
Her resume is steadily growing
Since appearing on the critically acclaimed NBC series This Is Us, Baker has gone on to star in several other shows, including K.C. Undercover, Drunk History, Dispel, and Alexa & Katie.
She’s not only an actress but a student
Baker’s schedule is not only packed with filming, photoshoots, and interviews, but she’s also a student. While most child actors are homeschooled, get a tutor, or take on their careers full-time, Baker reportedly attends a traditional public school while also actively acting.

According to an older interview, Baker said she “cried to death” after auditioning for This Is Us. “' I went in there, I was starting really well, but I messed up. They were asking me to do it again and again and again. When I was done with the audition, I really cried to death. My mom had to hold me like I was two years old,” she said at the time. Baker later won a Screen Actor Guild Award for that very same role.
She’s super close to her family.
Baker once said in an interview that “My parents always supported me through my journey, so when I told them I wanted to be an actor, they were like, ‘Yeah, you’re ready.”
