'Bad Boys' Star Theresa Randle Arrested Again, This Time on Felony Domestic Violence Charge
Theresa Randle is back in legal trouble.
The retired actress, best known for playing Theresa Burnett opposite Martin Lawrence in the Bad Boys franchise, was arrested on March 1 on a felony charge of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, according to online booking records first reported by TMZ.
Randle was released two days after her booking, with cops citing insufficient evidence as the reason she was let go.
This is not Randle's first run-in with law enforcement. In October 2024, she was arrested for felony assault after police were called to an L.A.-area home for an alleged assault. Randle was already gone by the time officers arrived, but two days later they received another call reporting a possible domestic issue and a restraining order violation. When officers returned, she was arrested for the earlier alleged incident. That case was ultimately rejected by the L.A. County District Attorney's office.
Randle is best known for her role as Theresa Burnett, the wife of Martin Lawrence's Marcus Burnett, in the Bad Boys franchise, which also stars Will Smith. Despite appearing in the first three installments, it was reported in May 2023 that Randle would be replaced by Empire star Tasha Smith in Bad Boys 4, though no reason for the recasting was given.
The news of her recasting came around the same time a video surfaced appearing to show Randle on Los Angeles' Skid Row, which raised significant concern among fans about her well-being.
No additional details about the most recent arrest have been released at this time.
