Chicago Man Tased by Cop Suffers Permanent Eye Damage
Body camera footage has been obtained in the case of Dominic Bradford, who was allegedly Tased by the police on March 18 in Robbins, Illinois.
The bodycam video shows a Taser being used on the face of the Chicago man by a Robbins police officer. According to ABC7 Chicago, Bradford and his friends were on their way home and stopped at a convenience store.
In the video, Bradford and his friends can be seen walking to their vehicle after leaving the store. The police officer had the Taser in his hand as he approached the vehicle.
"Say something else. You've got two seconds to get in the car," the police officer can be heard saying from the footage.
A Taser was then used on Bradford two times—the second time, in his face.
An ambulance arrived on the scene, and Bradford was taken to the hospital.

Bradford and his attorney, Keenan Saulter, are now suing the village of Robbins as well as the officer who used a Taser on him. Bradford and his attorney claim the use of force was unjustified because the officer followed Bradford when he was trying to leave.
"It was difficult to view. My husband had to support me because, that's our son," said Bradford's mother, Starlet Banks.
"To see blood on his face, his eye almost hanging out of his head, grotesque is the only way to describe it... No mother, father, no parent should ever have to see their child in that situation."
Bradford's right eyelid had been stitched together after four surgeries.
"I'll never look the same again, or feel the same again quite frankly," Bradford said.
"This is what my reality is right now," Bradford shared. "I don't wish this on my worst enemy."
