The end of the summer is already looking fun-filled and true hip hop heads are in for a treat. Nas and Wu-Tang Clan are linking up this summer to present ‘The NY State Of Mind’ tour which is scheduled to start this summer with their first show in St. Louis, MO at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on August 30th.

The rap legends will perform in 25 cities from August through October, ending the tour with four shows in California.

American Express cardholders are in luck as they’ll be able to purchase tickets to select dates before the general public beginning today at 10 a.m. local time through Monday (April 25th) while Citi cardholders will have access to presale tickets in select markets also starting today at 10 a.m. local time until Monday (April 25) at 10 p.m. local time.

This isn’t the only thing to look forward to from Wu-Tang as A+E recently   announced an Ol’ Dirty Bastard biopic has been greenlit for a feature film scheduled for a 2023 release.

The two-hour documentary was approved by ODB’s estate and will include interviews with the rapper’s family, close friends, and his wife, Icelene Jones. Jones is digging in the personal archives with never-before-seen footage to be displayed in the film.

The film was five years in the making, according to group member RZA.

“The third tier of the plan, which I’m in progress of, is an ODB movie biopic,” he told Mic.

“Like the five-year Wu-Tang plan, this was a five-year media plan that I concocted, I meditated on, and I’m striving to live out. So far, it’s working well.”
