Travis Scott’s Red Carpet Confession Puts Fatherhood First
Travis Scott seems happy about fatherhood.
While taking photos on the red carpet at Michael Rubin’s “Reform Alliance Casino Night” in Atlantic City, New Jersey this past weekend, the rapper was asked by Complex the “best purchase you’ve made in your life,” to which he answered “diapers for my kid.”
Scott has always been private about his personal life, but when it comes to fatherhood, he doesn’t hesitate to let those moments take the spotlight. In an interview with “Billboard” earlier this year, he shared that one of the highlights of his career so far was getting to share the stage with his children during his 2023 “Circus Maximus” Tour stop at SoFi Stadium.
"I remember my [3-year-old] son, [Aire] — he can talk — he was like, 'Yo, who’s performing here?'" Scott told the publication. "My daughter was like, 'Daddy!'
Scott laughed as he remembered Aire pointing to the crowd and saying, “All these people.” His response was simple: “Yeah, it’s going to be kind of turnt.”
To which Aire shot back, “For real?” Stormi jumped in again, describing the pyro and the energy in the stadium.
For Scott, the playful back-and-forth wasn’t just cute, but it was a full-circle moment.
“I always wanted to do stadiums, and it was kind of cool to have the little ones understand and know what I’m doing,” he said.
“They were amped for the show. So that was lit.”
