Beyoncé, or rather The Formula 1 Grand Prix, took over the Las Vegas strip over the weekend, drawing everybody who’s anybody to the streets of Sin City. 

Superstar couple, Beyoncé and Jay Z made a rare joint surprise appearance at the Nov. 22 race. And the delight didn’t stop there! They took turns riding shotgun with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton during a high-speed “hot lap” around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, a moment fans hailed as a meeting of legends. Onlookers noted Jay’s playful concern during his wife’s ride. Reportedly, the “Song Cry” rapper was “not all the way ok” after watching Bey reach 200 mph with Lewis.

Beyoncé turned heads in race-inspired couture all over the paddock. In her usual fashion, there was more than one fit. For her first look, she wore a custom Louis Vuitton racing suit: a white leather zip-up crop top and matching pants with black and red accents and LV logos, paired with red fingerless gloves, black stiletto boots, and a long black cape coat.

Later, Queen Bey changed into a Ferrari-inspired ensemble: a fire-red leather bodysuit with a matching jacket, styled with red platform heels, black leather gloves, dark sunglasses, a black Ferrari cap, and she playfully waved a checkered flag.

Of course Jay matched his wife’s fly. He wore an all-black look (leather jacket, mock-neck top, and black pants). The fly duo was personally greeted by Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali upon their arrival. 

In a post-race video posted to Instagram, Beyoncé captured her lap with Hamilton, “Give it to Mama!” (a likely nod to her 2006 hit “Green Light”). The Beyhive responded expeditiously and enthusiastically, hoping that Bey was dropping clues that something is coming. 

The something in question is Act III of her magnum opus. Act I was “Renaissance,” Act II was “Cowboy Carter” and Act III is highly anticipated as a Rock effort from the versatile superstar. 

In the video for “Green Light,” Beyoncé wears red, white, and black leather similar to her Grand Prix looks and there’s a moment where she’s seen playing an electric guitar. Fans commented, “is this an act 3 announcement?” and “Act 3 begins. This is not a drill everyone. Beyoncé does NOTHING without intention. We. Are. About. To. Be. FED.”

An appearance by Bey is never just an appearance. Fans are sure that there’s a gift that comes with her extended presence. Whatever it is, Bey and Jay’s victory lap at the Grand Prix was much appreciated.
